Early in the morning before we left the Meridian KOA near Boise ID, we went for a quick caching adventure. We managed to find a Travel Bug Hotel geocache right there in the RV park. We dropped off a travel bug that we had been carrying around too long. That was our Idaho cache. It was nice to find it right away since we wouldn’t actually be in Idaho very long.
We made a quick stop at Cactus Pete’s Casino in Jackpot
NV. A few dollars lost at the machines
and "free" Diet Coke and we were on our way.
We found Valley View RV park in Ely NV, filled up the truck
with fuel, picked up ice and a few groceries before a big windstorm hit
town. We were safe and sound in the
trailer, but I was glad we left the truck hooked up to the trailer…it gave us
some extra weight to keep us from getting blown away.
